Anyone can make an app now. Running one your clients can trust is still a job.
Oloro builds the tool your business needs — intake, client portals, internal systems — and runs it on servers we operate in Toronto, with a senior engineer accountable for it. Working preview in 48 hours, live in seven days.
The first version was never the hard part.
A form, a spreadsheet, a quick app someone on your team put together — they work fine until client information goes into them. Then the questions start: who can see this, where is it stored, what happens when it breaks, and who fixes it?
It holds client information now
Names, health details, financial records or case files — sitting in a tool nobody set up access rules or backups for.
Someone will ask where the data lives
A client, an insurer, an auditor or a regulator. “Somewhere in a US app” is not an answer that ends the conversation.
It breaks at the worst moment
Usually when the person who built it is away, or has left. Software your business runs on needs someone on call for it.
The spreadsheet became the system
Emailed around, copied, overwritten. Every Monday someone retypes it into something else.
Off-the-shelf fits 70%
So your team works around the other 30% every day — and pays per seat for the privilege.
What we don’t do
Native mobile apps, blockchains, and anything we can’t stand behind in production. If it’s not a fit, the plan says so before you pay.
Businesses that answer for their clients’ information.
Small teams with serious obligations: the work is specific to you, the data is sensitive, and someone has to be accountable for the software.
Clinics & practices
Physio, dental, chiropractic, mental health: online intake before the visit, the day’s schedule for staff, follow-ups — with records stored in Canada.
Law, accounting & advisory
Client portals, document collection, engagement and matter tracking — instead of attachments flying around by email.
Insurance & finance brokers
Quote intake, document checklists and renewal tracking that fit how your brokerage works.
Distributors & trades
Order desks, delivery and job tracking connected to the systems you already run, from accounting to inventory software.
Associations & nonprofits
Member records, applications and reporting for boards and funders who will ask where the data lives.
Already built a first version?
Bring it. We rebuild or harden it: proper logins and roles, the data moved to Canada, backups and monitoring, and an engineer on the hook.
A plan first. Then payment is the kickoff.
No discovery phase and no proposals to chase. Ask for a plan, read it, and only pay if you want to go ahead.
- Within 2 business days
1. Get your plan
Describe the problem in a few sentences. A senior engineer sends a written plan: scope, price, timeline and where your data will live. Free.
- Day 0
2. Say go
One payment starts the build. Your isolated workspace on our Canadian platform is provisioned the same minute.
- Within 48h
3. See it working
Our build system — AI development agents whose output a senior engineer reviews — produces your first working version at a private preview URL. Real software, not mockups.
- By day 7
4. Go live
The engineer hardens the build with you, we point your domain, and your software is in production.
What's baked into every build.
You're not buying code by the pound. Every Oloro delivery ships on the same senior-grade architecture — the patterns that keep software boring for years.
Isolated instance
Your own app process and database. No shared tenancy, no noisy neighbours, no cross-customer blast radius.
Auth & roles, day one
Accounts, sessions, and permission rules designed in from the start — not bolted on when it hurts.
Versioned schema
Every database change is a reviewed migration. Your data model has a history, not a mystery.
Hardened defaults
TLS everywhere, least-privilege processes, locked-down API rules. Secure is the starting position.
Continuous backups
Every change streams to a second Toronto system. Restore points measured in seconds, not last night.
Monitored & self-healing
Health checks, resource limits, automatic restarts. Problems get caught before your customers do.
Real deploys
Versioned releases from a git repository — reviewable, repeatable, rollback-able. No FTP cowboy edits.
Senior review gate
A senior engineer reviews architecture and code before anything ships. Speed never skips judgment.
A delivery system with a senior engineer at the gate.
The system
A delivery pipeline we built and operate end to end — intake to preview to production. It compresses the first working version from weeks to hours, and every build ships on the same proven architecture.
The engineers
Nothing ships on autopilot. A senior engineer architects the design, reviews every build, hardens the edges, and signs off before your software goes live. Speed from the system, judgment from people.
The studio
Oloro is operated by webfaCeMEdia, a Toronto product studio that runs its own cloud platform — the same one your software will live on. We host what we build, on infrastructure we own end to end.
Built on a delivery machine we use ourselves.
Ordering backend for a Toronto distributor — catalogue, accounts, and order flow, delivered and operated on our platform.
A full fitness platform prototype — auth, programs, media — running as a live preview within two days of the brief.
A white-label landing engine that provisions fully branded sites from a single command — templatization we reuse for every client.
We built and operate our own cloud: isolated app instances, git push-to-deploy, continuous Toronto-to-Toronto backups.
Two numbers. No surprises.
Most custom software pricing is a negotiation. Ours is a menu.

Common questions.
We could build a first version ourselves. Why pay you?+
You may well be able to — app builders make the first version easy. What you pay us for is everything after it: logins and permissions done properly, your data stored in Canada with backups, monitoring and updates, and a senior engineer who answers when something breaks. Plenty of customers bring us the first version they built.
What happens after I ask for a plan?+
Within two business days you get an email with a written plan: what we would build, a fixed price or an honest quote if it is bigger than one build, the timeline, and how your data is handled. No call needed and no obligation.
What actually happens after I pay?+
Your workspace is provisioned on our Toronto platform within minutes, the build starts from your brief, and you get a working preview URL within 48 hours. A senior engineer then reviews everything with you, applies your feedback, and takes it live within 7 days.
How can you possibly deliver in days?+
Our build system uses AI development agents inside a delivery pipeline we built and operate — that compresses the first working version from weeks to hours. What it doesn’t compress is judgment: a senior engineer architects, reviews, and signs off on everything that ships.
Who owns the software?+
You do. Code, data, design — all of it. The monthly Run fee covers hosting and upkeep, not a license. If you leave, we hand you everything.
What does "Canadian infrastructure" mean concretely?+
Your app runs on servers we operate in Toronto, and its backups replicate to a second Toronto system. Your data doesn’t transit or rest outside Canada. If residency matters to your business, see our data sovereignty page.
Is it PHIPA or PIPEDA compliant?+
We don’t sell a certificate — compliance depends on how your organization uses the software. We give your privacy officer the facts they need: your application and its data are stored on servers in Toronto, backups stay in Toronto, every customer runs in its own isolated app, and access is limited to your users and the engineer maintaining it. Send your privacy or security questionnaire with your plan request and we answer it before you pay.
What if what I need is too big for CA$2,500?+
The build fee covers one focused product — one core workflow done properly. Bigger scope becomes a second build (most customers add one within two months) or a custom quote. We’ll tell you honestly at intake.
What if I don’t like the preview?+
You get a revision pass with the engineer as part of every build. And if we miss the 48-hour preview or the 7-day go-live, the build fee comes back in full — that’s the guarantee.
