Question 1

We could build a first version ourselves. Why pay you?

Accepted Answer

You may well be able to — app builders make the first version easy. What you pay us for is everything after it: logins and permissions done properly, your data stored in Canada with backups, monitoring and updates, and a senior engineer who answers when something breaks.

Question 2

What happens after I ask for a plan?

Accepted Answer

Within two business days you get an email with a written plan: what we would build, a fixed price or an honest quote, the timeline, and how your data is handled. No call needed and no obligation.

Question 3

Where does my data live?

Accepted Answer

Your application and its data are stored on servers webfaCeMEdia operates in Toronto, and backups stay in Toronto. Payments go through Stripe and email transits normal mail infrastructure.

Question 4

Is it PHIPA or PIPEDA compliant?

Accepted Answer

Compliance depends on how your organization uses the software, so we don't sell a certificate. We give your privacy officer the facts: data and backups stored in Toronto, every customer in its own isolated app, access limited to your users and the engineer maintaining it — and we answer your privacy or security questionnaire before you pay.

Question 5

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

CA$2,500 one-time for the build and CA$299 per month to run it (hosting, monitoring, backups and upkeep), month-to-month after the first month. A working preview in 48 hours and live in 7 days, or the build fee is refunded.

Question 6

Who owns the software?

Accepted Answer

You do — code and data. The monthly fee covers hosting and upkeep, not a license. If you leave, we hand you everything.
