■ Canadian data sovereignty · by design, not by checkbox

Your software. Your data. Never leaves Canada.

Oloro builds custom software and runs it on infrastructure we own and operate in Toronto. Not a US cloud with a Canadian region — a Canadian company, on Canadian servers, with Toronto-to-Toronto backups. Residency isn't a compliance answer here. It's the architecture.

The architecture

Sovereignty you can point at.

Most residency claims live in a PDF. Ours is a diagram of infrastructure we own — show it to your privacy officer.

Why it matters now

“Hosted in a Canadian region” is not the same as sovereign.

A US-controlled cloud with a Toronto datacenter is still subject to foreign legal reach. If you handle health records, client files, financial data, or anything a regulator or a client will one day ask hard questions about, where your software lives is not a detail.

Clinics & practices

Patient intake, scheduling, records workflows — built for you and hosted where PHIPA expects your thinking to start: here.

Legal & professional services

Client portals and matter tooling where confidentiality is structural, not contractual. Your files stay under Canadian jurisdiction.

Finance & lending

Intake, document handling, and reporting tools where residency questions from auditors get a one-sentence answer.

Associations & public-adjacent

Member systems and reporting tools for organizations that answer to boards, funders, and privacy officers.

Anyone rethinking US SaaS

If your team has quietly started asking “where does this data actually live?” — that instinct is the market moving. We’re where it lands.

The honest caveat

Payments clear through Stripe and email transits normally — we’re precise about what stays sovereign: your application and its data. Ask us anything.

How it works

Sovereign doesn't mean slow.

The same delivery machine behind everything we build: preview in 48 hours, senior-engineered, live in seven days.

  1. Day 0

    1. Brief us

What you need, who touches it, and what data it holds. If there’s a privacy officer in your world, bring their questions.

  2. Day 0

    2. Say go

Payment provisions your isolated workspace in Toronto the same minute. Your data’s home exists before the software does.

  3. Within 48h

    3. See it working

A private preview of your actual system — running in Canada from its first byte, never migrated in from somewhere else.

  4. By day 7

    4. Go live

Senior-engineer review, your domain, production. Backups replicate Toronto-to-Toronto from day one.

Engineering

What's baked into every build.

Regulated data deserves boring, disciplined architecture. Every build ships with the same senior-grade patterns — no shortcuts, no exceptions.

Isolated instance

Your own app process and database. No shared tenancy, no noisy neighbours, no cross-customer blast radius.

Auth & roles, day one

Accounts, sessions, and permission rules designed in from the start — not bolted on when it hurts.

Versioned schema

Every database change is a reviewed migration. Your data model has a history, not a mystery.

Hardened defaults

TLS everywhere, least-privilege processes, locked-down API rules. Secure is the starting position.

Continuous backups

Every change streams to a second Toronto system. Restore points measured in seconds, not last night.

Monitored & self-healing

Health checks, resource limits, automatic restarts. Problems get caught before your customers do.

Real deploys

Versioned releases from a git repository — reviewable, repeatable, rollback-able. No FTP cowboy edits.

Senior review gate

A senior engineer reviews architecture and code before anything ships. Speed never skips judgment.

Who's behind it

A delivery system with a senior engineer at the gate.

The system

A delivery pipeline we built and operate end to end — intake to preview to production. It compresses the first working version from weeks to hours, and every build ships on the same proven architecture.

The engineers

Nothing ships on autopilot. A senior engineer architects the design, reviews every build, hardens the edges, and signs off before your software goes live. Speed from the system, judgment from people.

The studio

Oloro is operated by webfaCeMEdia, a Toronto product studio that runs its own cloud platform — the same one your software will live on. We host what we build, on infrastructure we own end to end.

Proof

We didn't rent this claim. We built it.

WholesaleWeeks → days

Ordering backend for a Toronto distributor — catalogue, accounts, and order flow, delivered and operated on our platform.

Consumer fitness48h preview

A full fitness platform prototype — auth, programs, media — running as a live preview within two days of the brief.

Marketing sites1 engine, many brands

A white-label landing engine that provisions fully branded sites from a single command — templatization we reuse for every client.

The platform itself100% Canadian

We built and operate our own cloud: isolated app instances, git push-to-deploy, continuous Toronto-to-Toronto backups.

Questions

The questions your privacy officer will ask.

Where exactly does my data live?+

On servers we operate in Toronto, with continuous backups replicating to a second Toronto system over a private network. Your application data does not rest or transit outside Canada.

Is this a US cloud with a Canadian region?+

No. Oloro is operated by webfaCeMEdia, a Toronto company, on our own platform in a Toronto datacenter. The stack — provisioning, hosting, backups — is ours end to end.

Are there any non-Canadian services in the loop?+

Two, and we name them: payments clear through Stripe, and transactional email transits normal mail infrastructure. Your application and its data — the part that matters — stay in Canada. We’ll walk your privacy officer through the exact data flow.

Your builds are fast. Is the speed safe for regulated data?+

The speed comes from our build system — AI development agents inside our own pipeline — but nothing ships on autopilot: a senior engineer architects the data model, reviews every line, and signs off before production. Your system also runs isolated from every other customer. Ask us for the review checklist.

Who owns the software and the data?+

You own both, unambiguously. The monthly fee is for hosting and upkeep, not a license. Leave anytime and we hand you the code and a full export of your data.

Can you sign our privacy/security questionnaire?+

Send it with your brief. Because we control the whole stack, most answers are short — and we’d rather you ask before you pay than after.

Bring the data home.

Describe what you need and where the data lives today. In 48 hours, you'll see it working — in Canada.
